LUSTR is the largest showcase of illustration in the country and the only opportunity to see the best and the freshest of contemporary illustration in one spot, for the sixth time in Prague. The event features Czech, Slovak and also foreign artists who will present their works in the form of individual installations that allow for the illustrations to shift into another dimension. Apart from that, the festival offers a series of workshops, lectures, concerts, and screenings and the visitors can take part in voting for their most favourite illustrator.

The aim of the festival is to provide the illustrators with a platform where they can exchange experience, get schooled on new techniques, arrange workshops with foreign professionals, and show the world that illustration, as an art form, has its rightful place also in the commercial sphere.

The festival launch will take place on Thursday September 19, 2019, starting at 6 PM.

The exhibition will be accessible until 10 PM on the opening evening. All following days, the exhibition will be open from 10 AM to 8 PM. The festival takes place in Campus Hybernská FF UK – Hybernská 4, Prague 1.
